LIFE-STAGE: Online Forum - MARCH 29
RESILIENCE as we age. What is it? How do we develop it

Time and Location
29 Mar 2026, 10:00 – 11:30
Online Zoom
About
Is resilience one of the defining qualities in how we age — is it something we’re born with, something we develop, or both.
What comes up for you when you hear the word resilience in the context of ageing?
Do you recognise resilience in yourself or in someone you know? What does it look like?
Can you think of a specific moment where resilience showed up — either for you or someone else?
Do you feel resilience is something people are born with, or something that develops over time?
Does resilience become more important as we age?
What do you think helps someone recover or ‘bounce back’ later in life?

LIFE-STAGE ONLINE FORUMS
We've been running the Forums on the last Sunday of every month for four years. The events are loosely structured around a different topic or question each month. The structure will develop over time to reflect the needs and wishes of participants. The Forum is for people in the second half of life and will focus on understanding our common experiences of ageing, as opposed to any specific belief systems or ideologies. We are a friendly and inclusive community -- all are welcome.
Confidentiality: This is a safe space to share. Nothing will be recorded or shared outside of this meeting.
