The reality of ageing is the slow decline of functionality and the loss of relatives, friends and so much more. This is the side of the coin seen by the separate, independent self. As we age our inclination may be to grab whatever bits of comfort and safety we can find. We may deny the fear and avoid the grief. We may try to stay clear of life’s problems but ultimately this can leads to diminishment and isolation.
Life-Stage events are about connecting with your greater self and embodying inter-dependency - finding joy in the mystery of life and peace in the unknowing. By embracing both sides of the same coin, we can take the blinkers off and open up to new ways of being.
